So since I am such a coffee freak, I decided it's time to decorate my kitchen after my love for the drink. I have had sunflower decor in my kitchen for the 10.5 years we've been married. I love it, but it is time for a change--it's so hard though because I have a lot of it now and I started removing the sunflower stuff today and my kitchen looked bare. So I decided to leave it up until I get more coffee stuff. I got 2 little pictures the other day at Hobby Lobby, but it seems like coffee isn't that popular anymore. WHAT IN THE WORLD? How can coffee not be in style? I just kept finding rooster decor. Any suggestions where I can buy coffee stuff? I am gonna try Kirkland's and TJ Maxx next week when I go to state choir teacher's convention. Here are the 2 pictures I bought:

It's a start! My super creative friend Kristy said she would paint me a sign that says, "Life is too short for cheap coffee". That is my favorite saying when it comes to this addiction I have. I have looked for signs that say this, but all I can find are pillows. ??? Sorry, no sleeping in my kitchen...no need for a pillow!?!
I'm having trouble parting with my favorite sunflower picture. What do you think? Would it go with coffee? (I do not have a decorating bone in my body BTW--I can clean though!!!)

I don't know where to buy it but when Mika packs all of her kitchen stuff up- go steal it!! Ha ha just kidding!
Not sure about the sunflower pic... hmmmm.... do you want to keep the sunflower part or just the border and frame? I could play with the middle of it! LOL
I've never had GJ coffee- that'll be my fee- bring me a "good" cup of coffee! Ha!
yes i think that you can use that sunflower picture
I don't think I would use the sunflower picture with coffee stuff, but that doesn't mean that you can't use it somewhere else. If anything it has black and red and might look good in your classroom. What are you doing next Thur the 30th? I am going to Ft. Smith...we should go together and shop for coffee stuff. And I guess Kristy is right...you can always come steal stuff from my house. :)
I have that same picture (the top one). I got most of my coffee stuff at Hobby Lobby. They had more stuff when I got mine though. I will keep an eye out for ya, and let you know if I find something.
Hey Susan,
I'm glad you are going for the coffee stuff. I've always loved your sunflower stuff, but i understand a need for a change! Sorry that I haven't texted you back yet, my blackberry fell in coffee so i'm just using a loner phone that i cannot text on! Anyway, you are welcome to borrow my Celebrating Home catalog...I only have one. I think that Hobby, Lobby, TJ Maxx, Kirklands and also Kolhs usually has quite a bit of coffee stuff. Britt is using that too and we found coffee stuff last week in LR at Kohls.
Talk to you later!
Jennifer
How fun...I LOVE redecorating!! I hope you find tons of stuff. I would try Bed, Bath and Beyond too...they have a lot of nice pictures. We have our kitchen decorated with a wine theme and I found a HUGE canvas painting there :)
Can't wait to see more!
I just love re-decorating. I agree with all the others about where to find coffee items. I would add Ross, it is just like TJ Maxx (not sure if you have one of those) and Michael's (just like Hobby Lobby).
I think you might be able to use the sunflower somewhere else, just not with the coffee items.
Hope this helps!
Lisa :)
I'm no help! I get most of my decorating things at Hobby Lobby or I make it myself. Sounds cute! Can't wait to see pics.
Still have my eyes peeled for "coffee items." Sometimes Wal-Mart or Target has decorating things.
Lisa :)
I have a coffee kitchen and bought a lot of my decor at Kohls and Kirklands. Have fun redecorating.
